Also new is import and export support for Netflix TTAL for those working on language dubbing projects. Users are now able to create ADR markers automatically by selecting one or more audio events, and functionality has been added to integrate external taker systems and dialogue script editors with Nuendo’s own marker system. Nuendo’s ADR system has also received an overhaul. Steinberg have also added seamless integration with Auto-Align Post 2, simplifying the process of applying time-alignment to audio captured on location with moving microphones. An AI-powered Dialogue Detection algorithm detects speech and removes silent parts and unwanted noise from recordings with a single keystroke, whilst a Free Warp tool allows subtle time correction of dialogue clips from within the Project window. This latest version focuses heavily on dialogue, with several new dedicated tools being introduced. Steinberg have announced the immediate release of Nuendo 12, their award-winning post‑production software.
